Bank of York

About Us

Bank of York was founded on April 11, 1935, and we're proud to be a part of the history of York County. That's a long time of serving our community.

We're proud of all the stories of people who have joined with Bank of York over the years to build stable livelihoods and raise their families.

We're also proud of the growth, change, and innovation we have achieved and implemented along our journey.

Our main office is in the heart of York, SC, and our other branches help us serve all of York County better from strategic locations in the Bethel / Lake Wylie area (branch built in 1985) and the Rock Hill / Newport area (branch built in 1990).

Bank of York, as are all successful community banks, is built on and anchored by a dedication to customer service. We specialize in serving small businesses and the real people who run them - their goals, their families, their security.

Our decisions are made locally, by the people you know, and all of our deposits are used to make loans in our community.

Our community has seen much growth, and we are proud to have been and to continue to be a part of this growth. With four locations, four ATMs, a mortgage loan department, and assets of over $220 million, we have earned the confidence of our  community, and we work to earn it again and again every day and on every level of our service.

We are proud to be York County's oldest community bank. If we can be of service, please come by any of our locations or contact us.
